Berichtigungspolitik

At Politikstudio (politikstudio.de), operated by Politikstudi Media Ltd., a private company registered in Gibraltar (company number C 92009, Malta Business Registry), we hold ourselves to the highest standards of accuracy. Our commitment to correcting errors is absolute: any verified mistake will be promptly and transparently amended, and a clear correction note will be published alongside the updated article.

Who owns and operates Politikstudio?

Politikstudio is owned and operated by Politikstudi Media Ltd., a private company registered in Gibraltar (company number C 92009, Malta Business Registry). The registered office is Office 9, Business Centre, Valletta, 0000. The publication was founded in 2024 and is headquartered in Sweden, with an editorial line in Germany (+49 30 577 013 49). All editorial decisions, including corrections, are made independently of any commercial interests.

Who is responsible for corrections?

Responsibility for corrections rests with the fact-checking desk under Birgit Schmitt, Ansvarig för faktagranskning (emma.sandberg@politikstudio.de, +46 8 525 030 66). She oversees source verification, fact-checking, and the formal corrections process. The Chefredaktör, Oliver Keller (anders.lindqvist@politikstudio.de, +46 8 525 030 61), has final authority on publication decisions and can escalate any unresolved correction requests.

How can I report an error?

Errors can be reported by emailing corrections@politikstudio.de. You may also use the general contact form at /about-us/contact/ or write to any editorial team member. When reporting an error, please include the article URL, a clear description of the mistake, and any supporting evidence. All reports are acknowledged within two business days.

What happens after you report an error?

The report is logged by the fact-checking desk and reviewed by Birgit Schmitt or a delegated deputy. For material errors—those that significantly misrepresent facts, data, or quotations—the article is updated immediately. A correction note is appended at the top of the article stating what was changed and when. Minor typographical or formatting errors are corrected without a note unless the context warrants one. Our standard response time for a final decision on a reported error is five business days.

Can I escalate a correction request?

If you are not satisfied with the handling of your report, you may escalate directly to Oliver Keller, Chefredaktör, at anders.lindqvist@politikstudio.de. He will review the case and issue a final determination. For further recourse, see our /complaints-procedure/. All escalation requests are acknowledged within three business days.

How do we ensure transparency in corrections?

Every correction note includes the date and a concise explanation of the change. The original version of the article is preserved in our internal archives for audit purposes. Our /editorial-policy/ and /fact-checking-policy/ provide the full framework. We also maintain a public log of significant corrections, available on request. No correction is ever made to satisfy a commercial or political interest.

Our commitments

  • We correct all material errors promptly and visibly, with a dated correction note.
  • We acknowledge every error report within two business days and resolve it within five business days.
  • We never remove or alter content without documenting the change in a correction note.
  • We provide a clear escalation path to the Chefredaktör for unresolved concerns.
  • We keep detailed internal records of all corrections for accountability and audit purposes.
